The National Great Blacks In Wax Museum

The National Great Blacks In Wax Museum’s mission is to stimulate an interest in African American history by revealing the little-known, often neglected facts of history; using great leaders as role models for youth; improving race relations by dispelling myths of racial inferiority and superiority; supporting and working with community groups, schools, and other organizations to provide opportunities for youth to pursue careers in the museum industry; and promoting economic development in the East North Avenue corridor.
Urban Foli Djembe Orchestra and Performing Arts

Urban Foli is a musical theater performance group that expresses traditional African drumming and dance bridged with contemporary sound and movements in support of all peoples in the community. Mission is to preserve traditional music and culture; to continue the legacy of percussion and movement; to promote the fusion of mainstream contemporary music and culture within traditional African Diasporic rhythm and sound and to expose as many people as possible to these traditions, specifically the youth.
