The National Great Blacks In Wax Museum

The National Great Blacks In Wax Museum’s mission is to stimulate an interest in African American history by revealing the little-known, often neglected facts of history; using great leaders as role models for youth; improving race relations by dispelling myths of racial inferiority and superiority; supporting and working with community groups, schools, and other organizations to provide opportunities for youth to pursue careers in the museum industry; and promoting economic development in the East North Avenue corridor.

Cultural Institution Communications & Digital Support

Be Light Media has supported communications, audience engagement, and digital visibility efforts connected to the Museum’s educational programming, cultural events, and public initiatives. The work has included promotional strategy, website planning conversations, social media communication support, email marketing assistance, accessibility language development, and storytelling-centered messaging designed to strengthen public connection and community engagement.

Recent support has included communication strategy tied to anniversary programming, exhibitions, workshops, and public-facing campaigns that help extend the Museum’s mission through thoughtful digital outreach and culturally grounded storytelling.
